We are pleased to confirm that HSBC has now agreed that the law firms operating under the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) can now act for the bank in conveyancing transactions. This includes Carr & Co.
HSBC had initially limited its HSBC Conveyancing Panel to just 43 firms, meaning that if mortgage customers wished to use non panel Solicitors they would have to pay extra for the bank’s separate representation.
This new deal comes into place from August 2012 which means that Carr & Co can act in cases where client’s have a HSBC mortgageand the client will not have to pay any additional costs.
Carr & Co welcome this decision from HSBC as it means that we can offer our exceptional services to existing and new customers who have a HSBC mortgage and all at a competitive price.
