I like dealing with people and hearing their stories. I enjoy meeting people and being able to help them with their problems.
What is your favourite film?
It’s Feris Bueller’s Day Off. It’s fast paced, funny and entertaining with great music.
What is your proudest professional moment?
My proudest professional moment was achieving a settlement of £250,000 for a client who had been in a car accident when another firm had told him that his claim was worth just £3000.
What is your favourite novel?
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. Because she is a female hero who against the odds maintains her dignity and independence.
What is it about Carr & Co Solicitors that makes it unique?
It is the commitment to provide the clients with a friendly, approachable and understanding environment where the clients are the central focus of the work that we do.
If you could try any job for a week what would you do?
I would like to be a footpath officer walking the paths of the Northumbrian countryside. I came across one when I was a trainee solicitor and he would come to every meeting in his walking boots and gaiters. He spent his days trekking the hills of Northumberland. I just thought wow he has got it made!
